I found this recipe on the vegetarian times website. Let me just say I would eat the shit out of this if it was in front of my face.

Ultimate Green Pizza

Ingredients-

* 1 12- to 14-inch pizza crust
* 2 Tbs. olive oil
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 1 cup chopped broccoli
* 1/2 cup chopped frozen artichoke hearts, or canned and drained
* 1 small zucchini, sliced into 1/2-inch-thick slices
* 1/2 cup (8 to 10 spears) asparagus tips, cut into 1-inch-long pieces
* 1 cup fresh spinach, sliced into 1/2-inch-wide ribbons
* 1/2 cup pesto sauce
* 8 oz. shredded low-fat, regular or soy mozzarella
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions-

1. Preheat oven to 450F. Prebake fresh pizza crust, if using, for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oven, and set aside to cool slightly.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and saute onions for 3 to 4 minutes. Add broccoli, artichokes, zucchini and asparagus. Cover, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally until vegetables begin to soften. Remove from heat, and add spinach. Stir mixture until spinach has just begun to wilt, for approximately 1 minute.

3. Spoon pesto sauce on crust, spreading it evenly. Top with cooked vegetables, and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cheeses melt completely. Remove from oven, and serve.

It also said a medium-bodied red wine would be a good match for this. Perfection.

I went to DC with Jenna today to go eat at this Japanese place we love in Dupont. We sat outside and it was like 9,000 degrees. Besides that, it was nice. Plus I had the best sushi I've ever tasted in my life. Some guy told me I looked like Joan Jett which was an amazing compliment.

and I just finished watching 10,000 BC because my favourite actress Camilla Belle is in it and I fucking loved it. Apparently a lot of people didn't like it, but I thought it was amazing.

Great Day... the end.

no one has taken away anything

no one has taken away anything.
I savour our separateness.
I kiss you across the hundreds
Of disuniting versts.
I know our gifts are not even.
My voice is calm, for the first time.
What good to you, young Derzhavin,
Are my undisciplined rhymes?
For your fearsome flight I christen you:
Young eagle, you must fly on.
You suffered the sun, unblinking.
Does my young gaze weigh you down?
No one watched more stalwart and tender
Than I as you disappeared.
I kiss you across the hundreds
Of disuniting years.

Things that are currently bothering me

1) There is ANOTHER Hulk movie coming out
2) My phone still won't receive texts from AT&T customers
3) Ainsley is acting like a queen and won't come cuddle with me
4) I ran out of cigarettes and I'm running out of beer, the two essential things I need in life

I couldn't find a lighter at work today. So when I took my smoke break, guess what I lit my cigarette with? You'll never guess. Jenna you can't answer this because you already know.

So I was having "trouble" with my car yesterday. More like it felt weird to me and everyone else kept telling me it was fine. So as soon as I got off work today I panicked and went to T-Mobile and bought a phone with a suitable plan. You know just in case I break down and need to call someone to pick me up. I am really impressed with myself lately... and when they did my credit check the guy said my credit wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I wrote a list that I thought would take me weeks to accomplish and got it done within two days. Go me!

I'm going to celebrate with Champagne.

I am in serious shock of the beauty in this man's poetry.

Come Back

Come back often and take hold of me,
sensation that I love, come back and take hold of me --
when the body's memory revives
and an old longing again passes through the blood,
when lips and skin remember
and hands feel as though they touch again.

Come back often, take hold of me in the night
when lips and skin remember...

Remember, body...

Body, remember not only how much you were loved,
not only the beds on which you lay,
but also those desires which for you
plainly glowed in the eyes,
and trembled in the voice -- and some
chance obstacle made them futile.
Now that all belongs to the past,
it is almost as if you had yielded
to those desires too -- remember,
how they glowed, in the eyes looking at you;
how they trembled in the voice, for you, remember, body.

Half an hour

I never had you, nor will I ever have you
I suppose. A few words, an approach
as in the bar yesterday, and nothing more.
It is, undeniably, a pity. But we who serve Art
sometimes with intensity of mind, and of course only
for a short while, we create pleasure
which almost seems real.
So in the bar the day before yesterday -- the merciful alcohol
was also helping much --
I had a perfectly erotic half-hour.
And it seems to me that you understood,
and stayed somewhat longer on purpose.
This was very necessary. Because
for all the imagination and the wizard alcohol,
I needed to see your lips as well,
I needed to have your body close.
